While studying film in Chicago, Illinois, Dynamo and Sons inc. was conceived of by Rob Kurland and Stephen Wrzesinski. Their goal was to create a production company focused on creative and inventive filmmaking. From pre-production to post. Dynamo and Sons seeks to experiment with the video medium and push creative boundaries while delivering the best possible product to our clients and partners. We’re capable of handling production from beginning to end for any commercial or creative project.

Rob Kurland is a 10-year veteran of film and video post-production. As the Director of Video Production/Post-Production for a Chicagoland startup, Rob has led teams creating work for Fortune 100 companies. During this time, he continued to grow his skills and create new workflows by incorporating automation processed through render farms, which gave the team, and himself, more time to collaborate and try new concepts in less time. Rob’s goal was always to find the best ways of working together so that his team would feel supported and empowered to take creative risks.
As the co-founder of Dynamo & Sons Inc., he nurtures bold ideas for storytelling, calling on his experience in abstract, narrative, and documentary film, and commercial video to guide the work.
